Rohini Iyer and Katrina Kaif felicitated at Business Icons of the Year

Today, Rohini Iyer, Founder and Director – Raindrop Media and actress Katrina Kaif were recognised at Business Icons of India with ZEE Business. While Rohini Iyer was invited to the event as the guest of honour and was awarded ‘Inspirational Trailblazer in Entertainment’, Katrina Kaif was recognised as ‘Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year’.

Held at Sahara Star today, the platform is a flagship event by the media conglomerate that honors tycoons making a difference in their field of work. This was the first edition of Business Icons of India. Personalities across fields of entertainment, technology, automobile, FMCG, healthcare, BFSI, fintech and real estate, amongst others, were awarded at the function.

Known as ‘the woman with the Midas touch’, Rohini Iyer is one of the most influential women in media and entertainment. Including her recent achievement, she has received 20 influential awards and been featured across 27 power lists and written about in three books centred on the most powerful women entrepreneurs in the country. She is called the lucky mascot by the who’s who of Bollywood as she has been part of their golden box office period and has been responsible for the meteoric rise of the industry’s biggest names.
